The Bettendorf Public Library enjoys working with the community to bring our materials and services to you.
Deposit collections are available at senior care facilities in Bettendorf.
Christine Garrow, School Liaison Librarian, visits the Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley School District and the City of Bettendorf’s private schools to share information on reading, books, and the public library. Frequent presentations include book talks on the current year’s Iowa Children’s Choice Award nominees and scary stories shared in the fall. Christine also presents at area schools to promote the Summer Reading Program before the summer break begins. In addition, she offers curriculum-related instruction on library research databases or virtual collections as well as tours of the library for students of all ages.

Bettendorf Public Library staff welcomes invitations to community events to issue Library cards and inform attendees about Library programs and resources. Staff is also available to give library tours or presentations to your organization.
