Join us for a special Global Gathering edition of Community Connections. Visit Ireland from the comfort of the library with local guide Steve Wauer. Steve will share highlights from his seven trips to Ireland, the most recent being in July of this year. Steve will offer an overview of his favorite places; cities, small towns, the sights of Dublin, and surrounding area. Other highlights include the scenic Ring of Kerry, Ashford Castle, charming bed and breakfasts. And let's not forget food, pubs, and, of course, golf.
Attendees can also expect some practical advice about the logistics of travelling to, and driving in, Ireland.
Steve Wauer is a Bettendorf resident and small business owner. He is married with two children. Steve has traveled to Ireland 7 times. 3 times for work and 4 times for vacation.
