The Bettendorf Public Library offers a full range of office services including public computers, printers, scanners, and wireless internet.
Wireless Internet access is available throughout the library building to anyone who possesses the devices needed to access the Internet via an un-secured network*. Staff members are unable to assist with personal computer related issues. Further information can be found in our Computer Use Policy. Wi-Fi connection is available outside the perimeter of the library 24/7.

There are two options for sending your print jobs from a mobile device or laptop:

Library cardholders receive 50 cents of free printing daily.
Printed documents will stay in the queue for 24 hours.
A photocopier is available for public use with paper sizes: 8 1/2" x 11" (letter), 8 1/2" x 14" (legal), and 11" x 17" (tabloid/poster).
A public scanning station is also available for public use. The station has a flat bed scanner as well as a document scanner. Scans can be saved to USB flash drives, emailed, saved to Google Docs, or sent to your smart device.
The Library provides a free local and long-distance fax service. International faxing is not permitted. Patrons can use the fax machine during any hours the Library is open. Instructions on how to use the fax machine are posted on the fax machine. Faxes can be received at 563-344-4174. Library patrons must be at the machine to receive their fax.
Computers at the Bettendorf Public Library provide access to the catalog, the Internet, Microsoft Office programs, children’s programs, and a variety of reference databases. Patrons with laptop computers or other portable devices may use the Library’s wireless access or an ethernet connection in library study rooms.
The internet stations can be reserved up to a week in advance, either in person or over the phone.
The Bettendorf Public Library has mobile hotspots that can be checked out with your Library card. Hotspots may be checked out for one week. Bettendorf Library cardholders can place holds on hotspots here.
Other RiverShare library cardholders cannot place holds on mobile hotspots, but are welcome to check them out if they are available. Overdue fine for the hotspots is $1 per day.
Federal tax forms and instruction booklets may be available for pick up from the Library during tax season. State tax forms are available online. Please contact us for availability by calling 563-344-4179 or emailing info@bettendorflibrary.com.
