Do you like ghost stories? Join us for a special Community Connections where Michael McCarty will share his bizarre ghost stories from the Bi-State area.

Do you like ghost stories? Join us for a special Community Connections where Amazon bestselling author of Ghosts of the Quad Cities and Eerie Quad Cities, Michael McCarty will share his bizarre ghost stories from the Bi-State area. Divid by the Mississippi River, the Quad Cites share a common haunted heritage. If anything, the seam that runs through the region is especially rife with spirits, from the haunted frat house, to hauntings on Sylvan Island. Michael McCarty hunts down the haunted lore of our Midwestern community.

Michael McCarty has been a writer since 1983 and is the author of over 50 books of fiction and non-fiction. Michael is a five-time Bram Stoker Finalist and won the David R. Collins Literary Achievement Award from the Midwest Writing Center in 2008. Michael lives in Rock Island, with his wife Cindy, and a pet rabbit, Yeti.

Registration is not required for this program. Community Connections is sponsored by The Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library.
