Join us for a special screening of short films to celebrate National Library Week. This year the theme for National Library Week theme is, "There's More to the Story" and we are offering a short film fest with a play on that theme. Short films, like short stories, can be self-contained or they can imply a larger universe that exists outside of the frame.
There will be time for a short discussion after each short film, so we can discuss; was there more to the story?
Titles to be announced, the selection of short films will come from the library's Kanopy platform. To find out more about Kanopy and how you can get access to thousands of streaming movies with your Bettendorf Library card visit the Digital Content page on the library's website.
Note that selected films feature a range of ratings from G to R, and Not-Rated films. The selection of shorts may contain adult themes and content. The program is intended for an adult audience.
Registration is not required, but is encouraged to allow the library to plan appropriate seating for the audience.
