Join us in the Creation Corner September 18-24 to learn more about Banned Books Week, an annual event speaking out about the harms of censorship and celebrating the freedom to read.
This year's theme is "Books Unite Us. Censorship Divides Us."
Week-long activities include:
- Make a Banned Books Week button with our Creation Studio button maker.
- Pick up a Banned Books Week sticker and bracelet while supplies last.
- View infographics reporting on nationwide censorship statistics.
- Check out an item from our display of frequently challenged materials.
- Bring your prewashed t-shirt or sweatshirt to have our custom Banned Books Week transfer applied.
