Please join us for a special Community Connections featuring a virtual tour of the Mississippi River guided by John Lynn.
John will share the story of America's great river; its course, character, and general river life as experienced by John Lynn, a modern-day Huck Finn, while canoeing solo down all 2300 miles of the Mighty Mississippi, from its source at Lake Itasca, Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico.
From Peoria, Illinois, John Lynn has hiked, biked, and paddled enough historic and scenic trails, roads, and rivers to circle the globe. John has also photographed all 2400 cities and towns in the state of Illinois. John has been featured in both the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun Times. He has shared his adventures and experiences with over 4400 audiences in three countries.
This event will take place via GoToMeeting. Registration is required to receive the invitation and password to this online event. Register online or by calling the Information Desk at 563-344-4179.
