Join us for a special Community Connections. Learn about the suffrage movement in the Quad Cities with the Putnam Museum.

Discover the unique suffrage story of the Quad Cities, 100 years after the 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote. Christina Kastell, Curator of History and Anthropology, from the Putnam Musueum will present about their original exhibit, Liberated Voices / Changed Lives.

In this presentation we will find out how Quad-Cities women made the case for and against women's right to vote and investigate the local roots of the women's suffrage movement from the perspective of local women and men from 1900 to 1920.

This month, Community Connections is being presented virtually. Please register to receive an invitation and password to join this event via video conference.

Community Connections is sponsored by the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library.
