Opera Quad Cities will present a free, 30 to 40 minute program featuring the beauty of classical singing. Join us!
February's presentation is titled "Fairy Tale Operas".
Opera and art songs will be presented while a host will guide the listener toward a better understanding of each song's context and poetry. The mission of Opera Quad Cities is to bring the art of classical singing to everyone in our community. We support local professional singers, young student singers, and all music lovers by presenting varied programming from art song to fully staged opera productions. This series of Opera “101” presentations, in cooperation with the Bettendorf Public Library, is a free outreach to give general audiences the opportunity to discover how accessible classical vocal literature can be.
The Bettendorf Public Library has partnered with Opera Quad Cities to provide these enriching programs.
