Come to the library for the blanket fort building event of the summer. Bring friends and family along to build blanket forts using chairs, tables, clips, and - of course - blankets.
When you're finished building your dream blanket fort, you can even read a book inside it or explore other forts. Blankets and other items will be provided for this program. You are welcome to bring along your favorite book to read, though, and a flashlight.
No registration required. This program is for children of all ages.
Programming for the children's summer reading program is presented by Eye Surgeons Associates and John Deere Employees Credit Union through the Bettendorf Public Library Foundation. Additional sponsorship is provided by Twin State, Inc.
The Bettendorf Public Library has served the community of Bettendorf since July 12, 1955. We offer Library events for all ages, and our meeting rooms are available for public use. See more information about our meeting room policy at http://www.bettendorflibrary.com/services/meeting-rooms/.
